So, I just got asked out on a date ^_____________^ My first. Yes, I'm 25 and going out on my first date. What can I say, I'm a late bloomer.

We're going to see "Godspell." Anyone heard of it? Is it any good? We're seeing it live, but I understand there's a movie version. Or something. We're going on a recomendation from a girl in his office, so. . .

Andy said he thought it belonged at a revival. I was thinking Sunday school. Andrew Lloyd Weber, it wasn't.

It was theoretically a musical of the Gospel of Mark. It had its moments. Some thoughts.

This is one of the better pictures of Jesus - Yeshua the teacher.

The disciples put on skits. Several were playing angels. Female to Male: Angels don't wear tiaras.
Male, so flaming: This one does.
perfect.

Some "What's with" moments:
What's with the eighties clothes?
What's with the childish voices?

The actor playing Jesus reminded me of early Joel from MST3k - slightly stoned and a half-step behind everyone else when starting.
The coreography was either bad, or they didn't have enough time to rehearse. Of course, it was basically community theater, so I don't know what I was expecting.

We bailed at the intermission.

My friend, I did not even get a kiss goodnight to justify your wink. I had a good time, though. He's gone MIA at the moment, so not even my sister-in-law has heard what he thinks. He has until tomorrow, then I'm getting his email from Morgan and poking him.

Oh, well. Maybe now my family will stop trying to set me up.

Heh I'm not sure my family will -ever- want to set me up. I suppose it's a good thing I've said I'm never getting married -- (so the pressure's on my brother to produce grandchildren. Said brother is six years old. ) My mom, especially, is very touchy about guys. It's a wonder I don't like girls instead. -_- (But who knows. XD)
